My kids love this place! Mellow and Play Cafe is a haven for families. The superb coffee won over my California AND Wisconsin relatives, who claim it's the best they've ever tasted. The indoor play area is a lifesaver on chilly or rainy days, but is fun any time of the year. We love attending their events. The owners put so much love and thought into the entire concept, a place for kids to play while parents get a minute to themselves. This truly is a must-visit spot!

We absolutely loved this hidden gem! My one-year-old had a blast and didn’t want to leave. Mia and K were so helpful and friendly. We’re definitely coming back!

Kate makes the best coffee hands down. I’m from Jesup visiting my Parents for the day and my dad took me here. I got the Dubai. It’s amazing. Not just saying that cause I’m energized from the caffeine. Please go try it. They also have these muffins that look delicious. When I come back to visit best believe I’ll be trying them. Thanks Kate !!

Mellow and Play Cafe is a wonderful coffee and pastry shop where you can be refreshed, relax, and occupy the kids in one location. I had such a good time experiencing quality coffee and tranquility while the kids could go make use of the bounce house park in the back. My husband ordered a salted caramel cold brew while I enjoyed the honey lavender cold brew. When I tell you the richness and smoothness was present in every sip I’m not exaggerating. I really enjoyed the drink and it’s so cool that they provide a place for the children. You can even book a child’s party here if you’d like. From just this one visit I can highly recommend them. They even have a mobile truck so you can book them for events. Please go check them out because it’s worth your time!

I went here for the first time today and Kate made me and my family feel welcomed and she made the PERFECT coffee! Her kindness really made my day she even gave my 2 yr old son a lil toy that he was crying for I’ll definitely be back just because of her and the coffee!

Coffee is absolutely fantastic, they have snacks (for when you forget the snack bag at home) and the play area is very diverse! They have a few baby items for if you come with a little little one and need to keep them in one place (like a bumbo seat and a jumper, etc) while helping an older child. I took my 2 year old and there was so much for him to do:) it only costs for the children to play and parents are free!! Definitely coming back. Also very clean! My son had on white socks running around and they are still white!

Beyond happy I stopped into mellow coffee today! The whole experience was outstanding! I received a warm welcome by Kate who asked if I had been in before. After telling her I hadn't she made sure to explain the menu to me, I ended up getting a butterscotch caramel hot latte, I also got a cheese Danish. I drink a lot of coffee all over and this latte was fabulous! The cheese Danish was dangerously good as well. I do not have kiddos but they also have a kids play area which is awesome. The whole experience was great and I can not wait to return! I really appreciate good customer service and Kate did not disappoint.

This was my first time ever visiting Mellow and Play Café—and honestly, I just kind of stumbled in while I was in town. I’m really glad I did. The environment was immediately welcoming and laid-back. I sat down with one of their house specialty coffees—a toasted marshmallow and caramel creation that was absolutely to die for. Smooth, comforting, and just the right amount of indulgent. While enjoying my coffee, I had the chance to talk with the woman behind the counter, who was an absolute delight. We chatted for a bit, and I also got to visit with a couple of customers who came in. The vibe? As chill and genuine as it gets. Just good people, good conversation, and a great atmosphere. Before leaving, I grabbed an Italian cream soda to go—raspberry—and wow. I don’t say this lightly: it was incredible. What really sets this place apart is their concept. You can bring your child in to play while you enjoy your coffee. Honestly… how could that ever be a bad thing? Whether you have kids or not, if you’re looking for a great cup of coffee, a relaxed place to hang out, and genuinely good people, this is the spot. If I find myself back in the area, I’ll absolutely be stopping in again. Highly recommend. ☕✨
